Post Play in Reverse
Hi All,

Just wanted to check if there is a way to return to a cue using the cue timing. For example if my Cuelist has 4 Cues all with 2 sec timing and I am currently playing back Cue 2 and I press play to go to Cue 3 but then need to return to Cue 2 without having to press play a few times to skip through or press skip back but want to maintain the cue timing which is 2 sec but go in reverse for example is this possible? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Will a JUMP command do it and keep your desired timing?

Press the Pause button to play in reverse.

I'm slightly confused...just made a simple cuelist because i was unaware of the "pause goes backwards" feature.

My cuelist seems to respect timing regardless of "pause" or "skip back"....unless my cuelist is just too simple?

Check your live time. Skip back will respect the live time however skip forward will not.

Edit: Just being told that my machine is being wonky and skip forward is following live time on another machine.

I am not sure about how to get 'Pause' to play in reverse, I am finding Pause doesn't do anything but Pause the cue in its state, multiple presses do not do anything? Clarification on this would be great.

This will only work on the pause button of a console playback or super playback, either real or virtual.

It does not work on the soft transport controls when a list is open for edit or in the playback window.

We'll fix this up so that it works in the virtual transport controls too.
