Post How to edit a fixture for entire cuelist
How do you edit a single or group of fixtures for a selection of cues? Here is an example: I have a cuelist of 250 cues. I have a single fixture for an orchestra director that is set to go up and down over a range of 50 cues. But say I want to Change it so it is static over those 50 cues. Is there a way to set that static attribute to that fixture and overwrite the tracking? Thanks for your help!

You can do this in the timeline view pretty easy.

I'll give you an example. Let's say you want the fixture to be on (or off) in cue 48 and you want that to override all the tracking until cue 160 where you want it to go back to what you had programmed.

Select the fixtures you want to modify.
Go to Cue 48 and turn them on (or whatever)
Select Cue 49-160 by selecting cue 49, scrolling to cue 160 and shift-clicking cue 160.
Go into the timeline view for the cuelist.
Click the button in the bottom left corner of the window that says "Filter: Selected Fixtures Only" when you hover. It's the 2nd from the left in the filter section.
Now, click the intensity parameter in the list to the left (or whatever other parameter you want to override). This will select all of the events in the cues you have selected for that parameter, even if you can't see all of the cues in the timeline window.
Right click on one of the events and delete it.
Do this for whatever parameters you'd like.

You can also mute those events if you think you'll go back to this programming later.

Hope this helps! Let us know if you have questions!
